French Riviera

Nothing beats a traditional holiday to the South of France: sun, sea, sand and lashings of glamour. The weather in the French Riviera is second to none – it is not often that you even get a light splashing of rain. Throughout the towns and villages you come across, each has an individual characteristic, whether it be a small, quiet and charming fishing village to a town or city with a buzzing nightlife.

Following on from the glamour of the South of France, a charter holiday with BGYB could take you down to Corsica. French Riviera

Day 1: Start of in Hyères which is one of the islands which forms « Ile d'Hyères ». It is a beautiful town with an extroadinary lay out: you can walk up and down to the old town and explore every nook and cranny that it has to offer. There are plenty of restaurants and cafès in this historic town for you to sit back, relax and admire the charm that Hyères has to offer.

Day 2:You can then sail across to Porquerolles which is another stunning island with plenty to do. You can relax on the beach, admire the views from the lighthouse and visit the « Conservatoire botanique national » which has divine gardens. Most of the island is part of a national park which ensures that you will get to see the natural beauty of the French Riviera and understand why is became such a popular destination.

Day 3:Having visited some peaceful parts of the French Riviera, you can sail to the vibrant town of St Tropez, which is one of the most glamourous and well known destinations in the South of France. Here you can wine and dine in some of the best bars and restaurants.

Day 4:From St Tropez you can sail accross to Cannes, home of the internationally famous « Cannes Film Festival » and yet another home to the rich and famous. But like St Tropez, it is not just a town for partying, it is also one of the French Riviera's most architectually stunning locations.

Day 5: Having had a vivacious time in St Tropez and Cannes, you can sail to Iles de Lérins to relax. You can take long walks around the islands; swim, sunbathe and enjoy some drinks in the sunset.

Day 6: Another fabulous location you can visit is Saint Jean Cap Ferrat which is a more discreet town in the French Riviera but also one of the most beautiful and exclusive locations. It is simply beautiful with incredible architecture and abundant with lush trees, flowers and plants.

Day 7: You can end up in the world Monaco, which is its own principality in the South of France, home to royality. You can enjoy a day on the man made beach, shop in some of the best shops that France has to offer or marvel at the extroadinary architecture. At night you can eat in some of the best restaurants, haunt some nightclubs or go to the world famous Casino.
