Turkey is a really vibrant exciting country that oozes of Eastern European culture. Turkey is full of archaeological remains and has been influenced by various cultures because it did not gain independance until the 1920s. But not only is her culture and history fascinating, but you can also charter a BGYB yacht to some of the most beautiful locations in Turkey.

Ionian Coast: Izmur, Güllük

The Ionian Coast is supposedly the best coast in Turkey as it always has great weather and each town has a vibrant atmosphere. Izmur is the second largest port in Turkey after Istanbul. It has a colourful history and this is reflected in her very strong culture. Throughout the year there are events held here which are always great fun with a fantastic atmosphere. Güllük is becoming a very popular place to visit and our clients can enjoy the relaxed restaurant culture here.


Carian Coast: Bodrum, Marmaris
The Carian Coast is a fabulous place to sail: great weather, great towns, beautiful scenery. There are two main locations to visit here: Bodrum and Marmaris. Bodrum has a great number of places to visit as it is a historically rich city. There are many museums and churches to see and the city itself is fantastic with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Marmaris is another beautiful location in Turkey with a great deal of things to do: you can take a mud bath, visit Turtle Beach, explore the castle or take a look down the boulevard which is full of shops, restaurants and bars.


The West Lycian Coast: Marmaris, Fethiye
The West Lycian Coast is an extraodinary place: there are many hidden coves to uncover and beautiful moutainous shores.
Fethiye is a beautiful place to visit with one of the most divine beaches to be seen in Turkey, the Blue Lagoon. There are many caves to explore which are really breathtaking.
